Sessions
There are public and private sessions. The public sessions are visible for everyone in the session overview, anybody with an account can join these sessions. The private sessions are only visible for people who’ve been invited. There are three ways to get invited:
1. Be a member of a group that has been invited: the session organizer can make the session available to every member of a group.
2. Via an invite link: the organizer can generate a link and share it; (logged in) users can use it to access the session.
3. Direct invitation: the organizer can invite friends.
It’s also possible to add a guest, a person who has no account yet, to the session.
The reserve list
Every session has a maximum capacity. It’s still possible to join the session if it’s full, but you’ll be added to the reserve list instead of the players list. When someone from the players list leaves, the first person of the reserve list is moved to the players list.
Groups
Session organizers can keep their sessions private to the groups which they invite. To become a member of a group you can either look for public groups in the group overview, or get invited to a private group. This can only be done via direct invitation by the owner or moderator of the group or via an invite link.
A member of the group can see all other members and all sessions to which the group has been invited.
Account management
Email notifications
The user can get notifications for several things (see the bell icon in the top right corner). For each notification it’s possible to also receive an email. By default, this option is enabled for most notification types. Through the notification settings it’s possible to change this.
Profile
It’s possible to write a short text for your profile page. Unless you’ve made your profile public, only friends can see it.
On your own profile page it’s also possible to change your email, name or password. You’ll also find an overview of the groups and sessions you’re involved in.
